Pause

Description​

The Pause tool is a tool that enables the pausing of a particular process or workflow for a specified duration.

tip

If the user would like to set the duration of the flow loop to be a specific duration, we highly recommend using the Flow Time Setting instead.

caution

The Pause tool will pause the entire tool flow as well as the thread that it is running on. This means that the entire tool flow will be paused and the none multithreading tools will not be able to run during the pause period.

We do not recommend using the Pause tool if your system is running on a four (4) core CPU or less.

Time Amount​

The amount of time to pause the tool flow for.

Unit Time​

The unit of time to pause the tool flow for. The following time units are available:

  • Milliseconds
  • Seconds
